                  VALANCE VS VALENCE
VALANCE (N)-
Meaning:-
  • a short decorative framework to conceal curtain fixtures at the top of a window casing, around the frame of a bed, etc.
Usages:-
  1. The valance on your bed is very charming.
  2. We have a beautiful valance.
VALENCE (N)-
Meaning:-
  • a measurement  of the power of an atom to combine with others, by the number of hydrogen atoms it can combine with or displace
  • power and ability to control
Usages:-
  1. Carbon has a valency of 4.
  2. The term also has new valence in the economics profession.

                                           BATH VS BATHE
BATH  (N/V)-
Meaning:-
  • a large, long container that you put water in and then get into to wash your whole body (N)
  • an act of washing your whole body (N)
  • to wash body(V)
  • to wash somethings/somebody(V) 
Usages:-
  1. We should bath daily.
  2. I take baths every Monday.
BATHE (V/N)-
Meaning:-
  • to wash something with water, especially a part of your body
  • to go swimming in the sea, a river, etc. fro enjoyment
  • an act of swimming in the sea, a river, etc(N)
Usages:-
  1. The moon bathed the country side in a silver light.
  2. Bathe the wound and apply a clean dressing.
FORT VS FORTE
FORT(N/V)-
 Meaning:-
  • building built in order to defend against attack
  • a place where soldiers live and have their training
  • to gather
Usages:-
  1. Our army spent about a hour in the fort.
  2. There are so many fort in India.
FORTE(N/Adj/Adv.)-
Meaning:-
  • a strong point
  • a thing that somebody does particularly well
Usages:-
  1. English language is my forte.
  2. Our army is our country's forte.

                                       HALF VS HUFF
HALF(N/Adj.)-
Meaning:-
  • one of two equal parts of a divisible whole
  • two equal parts of something
Usages:-
  1. Half of 50 is 25.
  2. Half of money is mine.
HUFF(N/V)-
Meaning:-
  • blow hard and loudly (v)
  • to say something or make a noise in a way that shows you are offended or annoyed
Usages:-
  1. He huffed and puffed as he made his way up the mountain.
  2. She huffed irritably about her husband.

             CALENDAR  VS CALENDER
CALENDAR(V/N)-
Meaning:-
  • a page or series of pages showing the days, weeks and months of a particular year, especially one that you hang on a wall
  • a record of what you have to do each day; the book in which you write this down
Usages:-
  1. Check the calendar for appointment date.
  2. Every record should be calendared.
CALENDER(N/V)-
Meaning:-
  • a machine that smooths or glazes paper or cloth (N)
  • press between rollers or plates so as to smooth and thin into sheets
Usages:-               
  1. Ready the calender for calendering the cloths.
