Dulcet
Dulcet means something pleasant to the ear.
A dulcet voice is soft, sweet, and soothing to the ear.

Disdain
Disdain is a strong feeling of dislike mixed with a sense of superiority—you reject someone or something as unworthy of your respect.
If you feel disdain for someone or something, you dislike them because you think that they are inferior or unimportant.

Obviate
Obviate means to prevent or eliminate a problem or the need for something before it happens.

Savant
As we know that savant means someone who is expert in a particular field.
Savant looks like sav + ant. Sav = Savvy means Cleverness or expertise; ant is a tiny but surprisingly skilled (like savants, who have narrow but astounding abilities).
Savant = Savvy + ant; Savvy ant is savant . This way we can memorize the meaning of savant.
Mellifluous means sweet and smooth sound, and very pleasant to listen to.
Melliflous comes from mel - honey and fluere - to flow.
Now, think of Melli (like honey) + fluous (like flowing) = Flowing like honey-smooth and sweet.
This way we can memorize mellifluous.
Dulcet means sound pleasant to the ear.
"Dull set" sounds like "dulcet", linking the spelling.
Dull set" could mean a boring collection of things or people.
Now make the mnemonic-
"Dulcet music makes a dull set mood sweet & soothing."
Delicious and Dulcet share the same root of origin "dulcis" that means sweet.
A delicious dessert is sweet to the tongue; a dulcet voice is sweet to the ear.
