HONEYMOON:-
Meaning:-
  • A holiday or vacation taken by a couple who have just got married.
  • Take a holiday with one's spouse just after marriage
History:-
Samuel Johnson defines honeymoon as "the first month after marriage, when there is nothing but tenderness and pleasure.
So honeymoon was named because of the fantasy similarity between love and the changing moon. Here moon stands for a month. As moon getting wane day by day in one month, love also decreases same way.



ROMANCE:-
Meaning:-
  • An exciting usually short, relationship between two people who are in love with each other.
  • Love or the feeling of being in love
  • A relationship between two lovers
History:-
The word romance is from the old French word Romans or Romanus means Roman. Very early meaning of romance was a story or song  about a hero and his lady love.



SPOUSE:-
Meaning:-
  • A person's partner in marriage
  • A husband or wife
History:-
This word has taken from Greek word spendo, when a businessman made a contract and confirmed the contract by pouring some wine on the altar of the gods they used to say this act "spendo" serving of alcohol. After some time, spendo came to mean "make a agreement".
Later on sponsus "a betrothed man" and sponsa "a betrothed woman" derived from word spendo. Sponsus and sponsa had made a kind of promise and contract. And finally these words changed into English word as Spouse.



ALLURING:-
Meaning:-
  • Dispose, incline, tempting
  • Highly attractive and able to arouse hope or desire
  • Attractive and exciting 
History:-
You must see a word "lure" in Alluring, a lure was a device used by hunters to call back their hawks. So when a girl or boy allures on their opposite sex, they are trying to attract each others.
This word comes from French word alure; a, "to" and lure, "bait".
