Facts are incredible, but people are incredulous.


    What is the meaning of incredulous?

    Incredulous means not able or willing to believe something. 
    If you are incredulous that means you can't or won't believe something. Being incredulous of something means refuse to believe it.
    1. She shot him an incredulous look.
    2. His face was incredulous, with just a hint of the anger I’d feared.

    What is the meaning of incredible ?

    Incredible means difficult or impossible to believe.
    Something incredible means that thing is very unusual or surprising that you can't believe it is really true, although it may be.
    1. They made incredible arts.
    2. You made an incredible effort right up until the end.
    3. He said it was an incredible coincidence that he happened Jp be walking by.

    What is the difference between incredible and incredulous?

    Incredible means not believable, and incredulous means not willing to believe something.
    Both of  the words come from the Latin root "credere" means believe with prefix "in" which means not.  

    Incredible is the condition of not being believable.
    Incredulous is the state of mind that does not believe something.
    Facts are incredible, but people are incredulous.
