EXALT (V)
Meaning:-- to praise somebody very much
- to make somebody rise to a higher rank or position, sometimes to one that they do not deserve
Word Exalt from Latin word exaltare, from ex- 'out or upward' + altus means "high".
EXULT (V)
Meaning:-- to feel and show that you are very excited and happy because of something that has happened
- He leaned back, exulting at the success of his plan.

Confusion:
Exalt is a transitive verb, it takes a direct object.One have to exalt other. Usage: Class teacher exalts students.
Exult is an intransitive verb, it doesn't take any direct object.One can exult oneself; One can't exult other.
Usage: Seeing her mother, she exulted.
Confusion:
Exalt and Exult- Confusion arises from a and u. Word Exalt is used for another person. Word Exult is used by someone who is Up with his own happiness. So exalt is for another person and exult for u (you) your own happiness.
How to Memorise:-
Word Exalt looks like Ex and Alt. Ex means to move upward and Alt. is the short form of Altitude. Allover meaning of exalt is to bring someone on altitude.
