These words mean rotation. However, there is some difference in their meaning. Let's see what the difference is.

What is the difference between turn, twist, and spin ?

Turn implies rotating or changing direction  often very smoothly. It is used for general rotation that can be of any speed, slow or fast, and rotation can be full or half.

Twist implies rotate, bend or turn something forcefully or unevenly that cause deformation. Twist is used to mean turn into a shape that is not normal or natural.

Spin implies rotation around a central point. It implies fast and repetitive rotation, often full rotation not half.
